  • On this page (with the help of Google Docs), you can view all of the 1,000 Greatest Films by rank, by title, by year, by country, by director or by running time.

  • The Ex-Top1000 tab (see below) displays not only the 68 films (from the December 2008 version) that dropped off the current version of the 1,000 Greatest Films, but also all the films that have previously been on the list, but no longer are (that is, from the December 2006 and December 2007 editions).  
  • The Sources tab (see below) lists all of the ballots and polls used (and/or referenced) to compile the 1,000 list.  
  • The Facts tab (see below) provides some basic statistical information on the current version.

  • View the 1,000 films in Microsoft Excel format (comes with Amazon, IMDB and Google links). Included in this spreadsheet is our point totals for each film. These points form the basis for the 1,000 list, and even though the figures themselves won't mean much to you, they at least give you an indication as to the distances in placings from film to film.  
     
  • If 1,000 films is simply not enough to get your teeth into, or if you believe that too much consensus is a bad thing, then maybe our starting list of over 8,800 films (in Microsoft Excel format) is for you.

  - Top 100 based on ballots from leading critics only.  
  - Top 100 based on ballots from leading filmmakers only.  
  - Top 100 based on ballots from low profile/younger critics.  
  - Top 100 based on ballots from female critics only.  
  - Top 100 based on ballots from male critics only.  
  - Top 100 based on ballots from Sight & Sound polls (1952-2002) only.
